General Description:
The CR6842 is a low-startup-current, low-cost current-mode PWM controller designed for green power applications. It features burst-mode operation for light and no-load conditions to minimize power consumption. Integrated functions such as slope compensation, soft start, and current-sense blanking help reduce external component count. The controller shuts down PWM output under fault conditions such as overvoltage, overtemperature, or short circuit. OTP is supported via an external NTC resistor. An internal latch disables output when VDD exceeds the threshold; the latch resets after VDD is removed.
