General Description:
The AMS1117 series offers a family of adjustable and fixed low-dropout voltage regulators that deliver up to 1 A output current with only 1 V dropout. The device is internally trimmed for 1% reference voltage accuracy and features internal current limiting to reduce stress during overload conditions. These regulators are compatible with standard three-terminal linear regulators and are available in compact surface-mount packages.
